While we were kept informed of the progress of the sale of the property, we felt the estimated value of our property, $ 3.8 -$ 4m to us and the value given to proposed buyers, $ 3.2-$3.3 was very dishonest and unethical. There is no way a buyer who is told that value would pay anywhere near the estimated value given to us. Allowing for the resent interest rate increases and the slowing down of the market, vendors should be given an honest valuation of their property and this was not.
Our agent was Chris, was very knowledgeable of the current market trends. He was very helpful and straight forward with us on the sale of our family home.
