Unfortunately I was told it was a standard contract I was signing, what was not brought to my attention, was the sellers special clause limiting the outcomes of the Building & Pest Inspections. The advice from the Solicitors it was not a clause normally found in a standard contract. It created unnecessary stress in wondering what the seller knew, while I was yet to find out, while waiting on the Building and Pest inspections. Pulled out in the cooling off period, went with a new contract from my solicitors without the sellers special clause, stuck with all the original dates. In the end, what inspections found was not a show stopper. Leanne did maintain contact, and went out of her way for me to do the final inspection on a Sunday prior to the settlement.
