I was selling this house from out of State on behalf of my parents who live in NZ, so I was after an agent that was capable of making this process easy for us. I used a number of websites that help me shortlist with a few criteria. 1. Someone who was relatively new to the market 3 – 5 years but had a very strong sales history 2. Had to be eager and in touch with the market 3. No sales crap – I didn’t want to have to cut through all the bull I just wanted straight up conversations no over inflated market appraisal and no self-indulgent praise telling me how they are better than the rest After the shortlisting of 4 agents, Colin was selected. Colin got 80 year old Mabel her new home by organising and negotiating everything possible as otherwise due to an other real estate agent she would have been homeless. Due to circumstances Mabel required access to her unit within just over 2 weeks on the day of purchase as her house was sold and she had nowhere to go. Colin was always available to talk to or to text, which is so important when everything has to be processed promptly. He negotiates well for the vendor with at the same time keeping the buyer needs in mind. He is very pleasant to deal with and came to Mabel's home to assist with the purchase as she is not able to drive or leave the house by herself.
