Focus on the Human Element
When my brother's and I first engaged Con regarding the sale of our parents property, we knew that we wanted to do right by our parents home, giving it the respect it deserved.
We were open to taking any advice Con had and we prepared the home with the notion of less is more.
From our first interaction, Con understand the Human Element was the most important factor in this sale. This was factored into the advertisement that Con prepared for our home. Focusing on the house as a home, a place where memories will always live, parties were had, a vegetable and fruit garden that provided fresh and organic meals, where dogs, cats, ferrets and rabbits were once part of the family, where children, grandchildren and great grand children thrived.
With all this knowledge, Con respected that this was more than just a sale of a property, it was about writing the heart warming final chapter of a family home with high regard.
Each week Con would make the time to guide everyone through the open for inspections, make extra time for private appointments, take calls and follow up leads and in turn report back to my family.
We were at ease throughout the month long campaign, trusting the process that Con took us through, knowing we were in safe hands. Right down to preparing for the auction, Con was honest about what to expect and how he envisioned the auction would play out so that there were no sudden surprises for my family.
Although we were naturally nervous on auction day, it was more with anticipation. The Harcourts Team effort that day was second to none and Con was the glue that held everything together. What a team player he is and what a team Con had supporting him.
We were so grateful for the end result and we know that our parents are smiling down on what was a wonderful final chapter of the story they created over 45 years ago in Reservoir.
