Happy and smiley keen to get you into your new home, i found spending the majority of my time filtering through lowball offers and consistent calls, texts, fomo keywords, and contradictions when it came to the decision making behind presenting offers and counter offers. As a first home buyer i learnt quickly that the information i gave was to be used against us as we proceeded. He found opportunities to insert emotive language to force decisions alongside setting unrealistic timelines for things 'needing to be sorted asap' or 'we need to have this by torday' or calling me mid concrete pour, saying i wasnt available to text me ten minutes later stating 'hey mate i really need you to give me a call before we go any further.' Towards the end, we lost the excitement and enjoyment of what wed been told buying a house was all about and accepted it was now a colourless process which got drawn out 3x longer that necessary or what is considered normal.
