In September we decided to make a major change in our lives which involved the sale of our home and our investment property, both in Castle Hill. We spoke to three real estate agents, all of whom seemed to be well qualified to handle the sale of our properties. But it seemed only natural to entrust the sales to Craig Alexis who had been in touch with us on a regular basis for many years. We can't remember what the original point of contact was but Craig would call occasionally (not more than annually) to give us his view of the local property market and from time to time we would receive emails, promotional calendars etc. Over time we gained the impression that he had a good understanding of the housing market in the North West.
Both properties were sold in just a matter of days after going on the market and for prices that were well in excess of our expectations. It is true that the sales took place against the background of a rising market but we believe that a very significant factor in these outcomes was Craig's experience and deep knowledge of the local market. We followed Craig's advice on how to market the properties and a good number of interested buyers from Gilmour's data base visited the two properties prior to the single open day that was arranged for each property. Craig gave us regular updates on how the sales process was going and everything happened as Craig had predicted, except that the final prices achieved were even in excess of Craig's predictions.
We were very happy with the service provided by Craig and the teamat Gilmours and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
