We have both bought and sold a house with Craig as the agent. After his excellent treatment of us as potential buyers and the ethical way he conducted the sale when we purchased a property that had very strong interest, we wanted our buyers to experience the same when we sold our property, and engaged Craig to represent us. In our sale, Craig went over and above in helping with recommendations on preparing our property for sale, knowing what was required to elevate the sale price. Craig quoted a realistic sale price based on data and didn’t try to start the downward spiral tactics some agents use of managing vendors to reduce their sale price expectations. He stuck to that price in his communications with us and achieved a sale price above it. Our home was not for everyone and achieved a price that reflected its true value. Craig also does one hour open inspections, which allows buyers to take in the home and imagine themselves living there. We've met Craig during the open inspections prior to the auction. I've been to several auctions on behalf of the public trustee and have to say that Craig provided detailed research regarding the property, which I haven't found with other agents. Although he answered all my questions and was always approachable, he still kept his loyalty towards the seller. The auction was well organized with quite a lot of registered bidders and a very efficient auctioneer.Just before settlement Craig helped us out, when our floorboards arrived a day earlier than planned. He was there within an hour (although far from his office). My experience with Craig was excellent, and his professionalism is accompanied by a subtle dose of humour, which I appreciate very much.
