Craig got back to me that afternoon with the good news. We copped a major setback when the mortgage insurer came back with a high risk rating. Everybody involved was speechless, I was furious. We had to find a large amount of money in three weeks.... Craig has sold dozens of properties in this complex and this was a first. He said upon enquiry that he never speaks to the mortgage insurer. Mabey this will change as the consequences can be game changing. We had another hiccup at the last minute and had the real possibility of not having all the paperwork signed by settlement day. As I had the removal truck and steam cleaning organised, it was imperative that we were able to move in. Craig was instrumental in getting the existing owner to sign a prior possession agreement so that we could. a few years back when I tried to sell my old house, but it was during the down turn/bad market. Craig suggested that we put the property up for rental, as the rental market was quite good. (he even offered me a discounted rate for the property management fees) And when the property market finally made a rebounce, Craig helped me to get my property sold (2 days after the first home open from a interstate buyer) for a little bit above the asking price.
