Craig is on top of the market, works hard to present your property and is upfront and honest. You don't need to chase him up as he is on top of everything. Recently sold at the Grange through Craig Lea and McGrath. I was given a strong steer by a close former neighbour who used them around 18 months earlier and I'm glad Iistened to her. From the first meeting all the way to settlement the process was smooth. Craig took a strong position on the value of the property, did his homework, worked the contacts really well, and had us fully informed the whole way. Fees were upfront and reasonable and no crazy extras to pay - no insane "marketing" budgets - just a clear list of some minor charges and the clear fee structure. The fee structure really does align interests. Craig ran a string of effective open houses, gathered data, and generally got everyone in the right position to come to the auction to bid. The auction itself was like a performance piece; a bevy of bidders (over 10 I believe), plenty of serious bids, loads of staff on site making sure every bidder was looked after and encouraged to have one more go. The whole thing was over in minutes and we had our sale and our price. And it was a quite full price. Ok, the area was hot and for a subset of buyers what we had was just what they were looking for. All the same, you have to find them, you have to get them there, and you have to manage their expectations into the right price window and actually get the bids in the yard when it happens. Craig delivered on all that. Finally, I have always had real estate agents at the same level as proctologists in terms of folks I want a professional engagement with. Craig really is not what I was expecting. He is genuine, no smarm, no oiliness, just clear, considered communication. The back office crew is runs like a watch and doesn't miss a beat. If you are in the area and looking to sell you would be mad not at least sit down and have a chat with Craig.
