Cons -When inspecting the property, Dallas didn't seem to be familiar with the property that he was trying to sell (e.g. no. of power points in a certain room, unknown function of switches in rooms) -Advice to future buyer's, get a solicitor to have a look at the contract before signing it, for first time buyer's- a formal offer is different to contract , I was unaware that I signed the contract when I wanted to make the formal offer -I was also pestered to pay the initial deposit before I received the signed contract from the seller's themselves (I sought the advice of friends and a great mortgage broker for this issue) Pros -Easy to get in touch with, quick responses -Helpful only post payment of initial deposit etc Real estate is a cut throat industry. I learnt from a friend that if you are stuck with a real estate agent who you are not happy with you can change them if you find one you like whilst inspecting properties. They can contact the seller's and see if the seller's are happy to change agents, simple as that or you could go look at another property. Ultimately you as a buyer have the final say.
