We (as a family, selling for our elderly Mum, Betty) interviewed 3 agents in Melton and we chose Damien and his staff over the other two for a couple of reasons. We felt he understood our situation very well, he understood that Mum wanted to sell to someone who would love the house as much as Mum had for the 18 years she had lived there. As a family, it was important to 'set Mum up' for the rest of her life, so there needed to be a good solid financial outcome for her as well. Agent and staff were easy to deal either, which was important since We reside in Queensland and yhr house was in Melbourne. The house was put on the market quickly and a sale within 4 days was made. However due to the poor condition the tenants displayed yhe home and some maintenance matters I was not aware of, the first sale failed due yo a poor building inspection. These matters were dealt with and after a further 8 weeks Hocking Stuart secured a contract.
