It could not have been possible for Dan to have shown less interest in me as a potential purchaser. The agency had to be chased to provide documentation (including the deposit receipt and updated contract) and post sale, they provided a settlement letter with the wrong exchange date, incorrect detail on deposit transferral and even the wrong address for the house?! The property was passed in and sold for $10k under the reserve, which was $40k above the advertised price, so the vendor didn’t get an “extra $5k” as they state. Fortunately I wanted to buy the house because of the location as Dan did nothing to sell the house to me, in fact he ignored me at all open inspections despite my obvious interest. I looked at dozens of houses before buying this one and dealt with all of the other Newcastle agents who were far more professional than green st. I would never consider selling with this agent and it’s simply bizarre they asked me to provide feedback.
