Please note: Louise H was the agent who dealt with me for the whole fortnight regarding the possible purchase of the apartment 36/71 Giles St, as Dan McA was away.
My experience with the team at Belle Property from meeting Matilda at the first open inspection to the signing of the contracts with Louise and Dan on auction day was excellent. I received the contracts on the day I asked for them; Louise was generous with her time when I asked for a couple of extra visits to check the morning light in the apartment (good, even though not north-facing), and for another family member to come and look through to check for things that I don't know anything about. Louise also came to my home for an appraisal, and sent her proposal to me on the day it was promised - a rare occurrence, in my (admittedly limited) experience. It was very much appreciated.
I found Lou to be personable and efficient, and able to have a laugh as well. I felt relaxed with her and able to ask anything. When I met Daniel on the morning of the auction, he was similarly friendly and efficient. And we, too, had a laugh about the need for writing with our elbows in the air so that we don't smudge the ink. (Left handers, both.)
The auction itself was conducted very well. Mike was the auctioneer. The long gap between the 2nd and the final call at any auction is always tense, and this was no exception. I was reasonably confident, though, that I had the edge, and my daughter, who attended with me, only once had to tell me to settle down.
It was a 5 star experience from the start. Thank you Louise, and all the team at Belle Property Group, and thank you for the champagne, too.
Regards,
Gaynor Evans.
