We viewed another unit at the same street address in 2016 and could not arrange finances in time and so we were delighted to get a second opportunity a second unit at the same street address in 2017 and were able to secure ownership on this occasion. During the Open for Inspection day, we sought information regarding the historical difficulties of the building structure (as identified during initial inspection of the earlier unit for sale) and found ourselves disappointed with the attention to researching the answers to our queries. A different agent from a different agency sold the first unit we viewed and we were delighted with her provision of facts and her willingness and prompt attention to seeking answers to questions With the comparison between two agents of opposing agencies available for the same block of units, it becomes apparent that whilst Daniel responded quickly he appeared to not treat our queries seriously and simply advised that the owner said there were no issues. Specifically we wanted to know if the body corporate had carried out all of the recommended repairs from the engineers report. We only got an answer to this question after auction, settlement and at the first body corporate meeting held and attended by us as owners. Whilst there may not be any legal reason for Daniel to address our Body Corporate repairs query, we did feel that the issue was "avoided" and we were nervous buyers at the auction in the absence of answers.
Daniel went above and beyond to secure the sale of my unit within less than a month. His advice was spot on and enabled me to achieve the result I was wanting in a short space of time.
