Just wanted to give some of my thoughts on how my recent sale was handled. When a property has been in the family for such a long time, it’s a home and very difficult to see it through the eyes of a prospective Purchaser. Yes, Daniel Rees did tell me how he would market the property and what figure he thought this property would bring and what to do to it to maximise the selling price but he did so much more than that. Daniel advised me as to what had to be done but just as importantly what to leave as is. For example, the window furnishings / curtains were outdated and did not give a good look. Being on a budget, Daniel understood I only had so much to cover all the renovation costs, his advice was that blinds were not a high priority and he was right. If it did affect the final sale price, it would only have been minimal. The countless number of times I called Daniel and when I did he was always ready to advise me on what needed to be done. Sometimes I didn’t understand why I had to do certain things to the property but the bottom line is that at the time of sale, the price exceeded my expectations. I believe that because I listened to Daniel, this result was achieved. It was hard work and I wouldn’t want to do it again but what made it a lot easier is Daniel's ability to make me laugh but more importantly his professionalism, dedication, long hours and the right person to handle the sale. I just barely made budget but by following Daniel's advice I got quite a bit more than would have been my reserve and in the end it was more than worth it. I want to thank you Daniel for all of his efforts and also I would like to thank Dimitry for his efforts as well. You two make a terrific team. If I ever buy or sell in Daniel's jurisdiction again I would not hesitate to seek him out and have him act on my behalf.
