Danny was a great person to deal with, he did a great job selling my mum's house dealing with a difficult buyer who has made salacious lies about him which is very disappointing considering the sale was a fire sale due to my mum's poor house which they took advantage of. But you're always going to get those type of people I guess. I'd recommend Danny to anyone wanting to list their house in the area he serves. After initially contacting both agents multiple times to inspect a property on a weekend - I received a call back on the Monday from Danny to advise property was under contract and there were others in line before me. My wife contacted the other agent to see if contract was unconditional and was advised it was 'at risk' of not proceeding and was asked if we were interested in submitting an offer - which we did along with another party apparently. My contract was subject to Building & Pest which identified a number of issues requiring $ to rectify. I contacted Danny to discuss possible price reduction to accommodate repairs and was told he would not contact Sellers as I quote 'getting a steal and he had others buyers lining up to purchase if I didn't want it." My solicitor negotiated the desired outcome - no thanks to Danny. Settlement day arrived and we went to LJ Hooker office to be given 1 key for house and was told all other keys were at the house. On arrival we found no other keys or remote controls for roller door. After a number of calls with no answer I returned to the office to speak to Danny - but he was unavailable in a meeting. He contacted me later and stayed the supply of keys was out of his control and recommended getting locks replaced as this is what he tells ALL his buyers. When I said that came at a cost - he said he would contact Sellers but couldn't promise anything. After a follow up text the next morning Danny rang to advise that one Seller had agreed to mail one set of keys and remote in coming days, but he was not able to contact second Seller. He then went on to say the son of Sellers advised there was a spare set if keys hidden in a tree in front yard that I could search for. At this point I asked if he was for real and he said yes. He told me again to get a locks changed if I wasn't happy which I said I was not and I then expressed my disappointment with his service. He called me a f---wit and hung up. Considering that Danny made around $10,000 commission from my property purchase, I have been very disappointed with his customer service. Not once did I meet Danny. The signing of documents was all done by DocuSign which was easy and interesting but it still would have been nice to meet the agent I was dealing with. I had to make 5 separate phone calls alone just to get my full sets of keys to the property which arrived 4 days after my settlement date. And one week after my settlement, the for sale sign still sits out the front of my property with no SOLD sign on it. The girls in the office have been very helpful and a thank you to Michael who assisted where possible.
