I had spoken to Darrell about a couple of properties over the last couple of years, so when it came to selling my property I was very keen to engage the best agent in Ashmore. I was going through a divorce and my ex wife wanted to use another more expensive out of area agent. Fortunately we agreed to engage Darrell. It was a difficult property to sell, partly renovated and a split level property tiered over four levels. I love the house but it’s not for everyone. After a couple of weeks the property went under contract at an very good price, however the building inspection uncovered a historic termite issue and the deal fell over. Under advice from Darrell I engaged a contractor to do a more invasive termite inspection and provide a report. This issue made the property even more difficult to sell, however a few weeks later a good price was achieved given the falling market conditions and the termite issue. Darrell was in a very difficult position given it was a divorce sale, he was amazing and has enabled me to move on with my life. I am deeply indebted to Darrell, it was the most stressful 6 months of my life given everything that was going on, and getting the property sold was a big stress reliever. Darrell is more than just an agent, I will always be indebted to him for what he did for me and my kids.
