Darren was the agent acting for the vendor of the house I purchased earlier this year. The property had been vacant for some time and from all accounts the vendor was difficult to deal with (possibly unrealistic in expectations of the market). Darren worked hard to have any questions I had answered and addressed my concerns as quickly as possible. When there was a query around a retaining wall, he was happy to arrange for someone to be available to assist with the assessment of the issue. He was friendly and sympathetic to my situation and was respectful of my needs to have multiple visits and access to the property prior to purchasing. The settlement of the property was the classic nightmare story of the vendor heading overseas prior to signing documents and Darren went above his role at the time to help influence the vendor to do the right thing and provide access to the property. Darren has since followed up to see how my family are settling into the property and has also offered assistance in helping find tradesman to assist with some work on the house.
