I've bought and sold in the Liverpool area over the last 30 years. In my previous experience with other agents, they came in with promises and expectations but seldom delivered (and usually blame the market or find other excuses) As I'm rather OCD and since this occasion was my late father's deceased estate I had to do a lot of due diligence in selecting an agent to ensure the whole family was happy. I compiled a spreadsheet comparing Darrin with 5 other agents in the Liverpool/Fairfield area, and on paper Darrin came out on top in every aspect: experience, familiarity of the area, knowledge of the market, ratings, fees on commision and value for marketing. Little did Darrin know, my sister and I were so pleased and impressed with his initial visit that we were ready to sign with him within 10 minutes, however this guy is so friendly and loves a chat that the meeting went for an hour. To cut it short, he found a great buyer within 10 days during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic which speaks volumes. Other agents (and family members) told us we'd get less than expected because it is a deceased estate, but Darrin stayed true to his word and got us a great price. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

We spoke with Darrin and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that we are currently in difficult and changing times in the world and it would be tough to sell.
