Darryl's team's marketing meant that we had a fantastic number of inspections through the property over the campaign. I was impressed by his attention to follow up on those who were serious players and to be able to discuss with me the details of four who had expressed their intention to attend and to bid definitely and three others who were possible. Indeed just before the auction began I was well aware of who was there ready to bid and who was not. I followed Darryl's advice on the reserve price and the auction, with a well informed auctioneer, proceeded as Darryl had predicted and then pleasingly well beyond! One of the final bidders Darryl had opened out of hours for a couple of personal inspections in the 48 hours leading up to the auction and this meant that this family, as it turned out the underbidders, helped to boost the price considerably.
