About Darryn

My Family moved in 1978 to the Eyre Peninsula and I grew up in the rural district of Cleve and completed my schooling at Cleve Area School doing the year 11 and 12 Certificate in Agriculture course. I married Leanne in 1992 and we now have 4 children Rachel (18), James (16), Caleb (14) and Joshua (10). Since my schooling I have always worked in the Agricultural related industry eventually completing my Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture by distance education through Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga campus. This was invaluable for me to understand all the major cropping and livestock production systems commonly used in Australian agriculture. This lead to me to join Elders Rural Services in 2006 at Port Lincoln where I now mainly serve the farming communities of Eyre Peninsula by assisting them to list and sell rural properties. With honesty, integrity and respect I am extremely passionate about my work and enjoy the challenge to help farming enterprises sell or expand their holdings all across the Eyre Peninsula. The Elders brand and presence on the Eyre Peninsula is very strong with offices in all major farming districts. The strength of what Elders and I can offer is extensive rural knowledge of the market place conditions at the coal face in any given farming region on the Eyre Peninsula. Since my time with Elders in Real Estate I have always mandated to make the vendor my number one priority to serve. Real Estate is a people business that has led me to listen carefully to people’s needs and respond positively to affect a sale that brings value and transparency to the transaction. I have worked hard to build solid relationships within the Real Estate industry with bankers, accountants, valuers, conveyancers and purchasers. One of the key tools I have developed during the past 5 years is the complete mapping of every landowner on the Eyre Peninsula. These map books have become a valuable asset to my work which allows me to constantly monitor sales in all regions to update land ownership. Another key issue I monitor is the local seasonal market conditions for primary production. Related to this is what the major influences are on commodity price movements as shaped by world production and our own domestic markets. When you choose Elders Real Estate on the Eyre Peninsula you’re getting the best service and current market advice available today.
