Dave and his front office staff were absolutely fantastic from the very first phone call to the final transaction for the sale of our property. We live interstate and were concerned about the challenges of selling our investment property from a remote location. This concern was quickly alleviated with the regular, clear and concise communication from Dave and the ReMax team. I had 2 prior Agents attempt to sell my unit at an expected (and discussed) price with no result. They both advised to leave the unit in its original 16 year old condition. After attempting to sell the unit for a few months, the 2nd Agent did a turnabout & advised that it needed a renovation, to achieve the expected price. This was after spending around $4k on advertising/marketing. The unit is at Milton which I had assumed was outside of David's "jurisdiction". I have known David for around 25 years so called him for advice only. He was happy to take on the agency, recommended a renovation which was realistic in cost and had a great impact on presentation. David arranged the required contractors, secured their costings at very reasonable rates, and even arranged for their access (as we were residing at the Gold Coast). He also helped us with moving our belongings out of the unit. David kept me informed of any inspections and their outcomes and arranged virtual inspections when it was physically impossible to inspect due to COVID restrictions. Th property was passed in at auction but immediately afterwards, David secured a signed Contract on terms acceptable to me. In fact it is a record price for the building and also, as I understand it, a record price on a re-sale of any Milton unit. The sale was conditional on finance & David even kept his finger on the pulse with that aspect of the sale, by providing any assistance which could help the Buyer getting the approval. To say David did an incredible job & went above & beyond expectations, would be an understatement. I wouldn't hesitate for a second in recommending him for the job.
