I have been watching the Port Douglas property market for roughly 10-11 years and saw it go down and down. Earlier this year I thought that it was a good time for us to buy. Went to Port Doutglas in March and saw a few properties to which we were not interested in and the Agent told us of the property that we have purchased but it was not listed with them. He said that he probably could get us through but would make a call. We loved it, however he didn't appear to be very interested in negotiating so we called David Cotton (of Raine & Horne the Real Estate Agent who had the listing). He couldn't do enough to assist and thanks to David we are now the proud owners of a property in Port Douglas. Our dream has come true. Thanks David we are very happy with our purchase and hope to buy you a drink when we are up there at Christmas time. I couldn't recommend David Cotton of Raine & Horne enough. If we were going to be selling it in due course they would be the Agent that I would ONLY use.

In a tough selling market David continued using his agent ability and tenacity to sell my property at Mowbray Qld. I would recommend David to anyone wanting to buy or sell with a true professional.

Hi David Hope you are well Sorry for late Reply things are quite busy were I am and not get to much time for other. My Experience in regards to purchase of 14 Trochus Close was all positive in Regards to David and his Team. After having a negative experience with a previous dealing in Port Douglas/Mossman area I approached Raine and Horne in regards to purchase and rentals in that area. On availability of 14 Trochus Close I was a quite nervous/cautious due to previous dealings. David and his Team were direct/honest in the process and made me feel comfortable with the Purchase which was important to me, due to the nature of the acquisition that being for residence. I do not say these things lightly and it would not be that easy to change ones thoughts in regards to such things after a negative experience. From that I would definitely consult David and his team in future if I were looking for additional property or looking to part with mine and have no problem in recommending him for anyone else who were in that position. Twelve months on I will say thanks again.

David, was very understanding and patient with our decisions/feelings of selling our family home and then helping to purchase another property that was suited to our requirements. Would definitely recommend David to potential sellers in the property market.

David sold after auction. We thought that there was strong interest for the auction but that did not happen. We were able to sell after auction for a little less than our reserve. David worked so hard to get us to this result
