What we are also happy about is how it was handled. From the very beginning in her recommendations and marketing strategy, Martine has been honest. Her appraisal was fair and her fees reasonable. Her marketing plan was effective with reduced advertising costs. We knew as we had tried to sell the same property twice before with other agents with much higher advertising costs. Martine also has a very friendly manner and communication from her has been nothing short of excellent. She promptly returned our calls and texts and patiently explained everything to us. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her and her husband David. She has great attention to detail and she and David went above and beyond expected by changing light globes etc. making sure property was well presented at home opens. Feedback from her after the home opens was prompt, concise and meaningful. She carefully wrote the conditions on the offers protecting our interests as sellers. She even offered to come with us to the council to help us argue our case to get prior building approvals to meet the sale conditions and ensure timely settlement. Her advice was always genuine and she recommended we reject the offers that did not represent the true value of our house and did not put any pressure on us to move on price. In a hard to sell market, our property was also tenanted with tenants who were having a difficult & stressful time in life & were not pleased with the timing of the sale. Despite all these difficulties, we feel it was Martine’s ever so polite determination, hard work & attention to detail that made the sale.
