Excellent experience

David Forrester from Belle approached us to sell the house we have lived in for 25 years and loved. Excellent location, great views and tons of room for our frequent house guests. I was reluctant to consider selling but David provided excellent data on both how we could sell this (unusual) property and the value. I've bought and sold properties since I was 24 and know many of the agents' 'Tricks'. However, David and the others in his team were absolutely straight with us and his value estimates proved to be accurate, unlike many of his peers (in my personal experience). He marketed the property cleverly and provided success/failure data regularly to help re-assess how best to proceed. We changed the marketing program several times and eventually hit 'pay dirt' - done deal and deposit secured. At the last minute - shortly before settlement, the buyer had some problems to manage and requested a 6 month stay of execution. Even though this put back the fee Belle will get, David was the consummate professional and helped make this work for both parties. In summary, my lady and I are both delighted with the service David Forrester provided, to the extent that she recently quipped 'we should buy and sell a couple more properties so we can work with David again'.
