David Miller
David Miller and the team at Raine and Horne in Midland had managed our rental property at 2/39 Ferguson St for a number of years. In September 2024, two years after we had retired to Ireland we made the decision to sell the property and asked David to manage the process. David found an alternative rental for our tenant of the time and then readied the property for a vacant sale. This involved bringing the property back to a near new state including gardening, cleaning, and some repairs and repainting. In terms of a sales strategy David decided we should try and capitalise on the interest at the time in WA property by Eastern states investors. The property was listed around the 15th August 2024 and a sale was agreed a month later at an amount 19 percent higher than the listing price. Settlement was the 8th October 2024.
