When we were faced to have to sell our investment unit, we wanted no one else other than David Taylor to list and sell this property, as we had known him for around 7 years who annually assisted our charity balls annually and whom we greatly respected for his skills to help us raise funds. So the property went to market, but it took around 18 months and a massive loss before it sold. It also took a independent advocate to suggest that we were only going to sell it if we severely dropped the price. David is highly professional and dedicated in all aspects of Real Estate activity but we now feel disappointed that he did not adequately advise us that we were overpriced in the current market. He suggested to lower but not to an advised figure nor did he show market figures or results to highlight. Whether he was being sensitive about the true picture of the market because of our relationship in hindsight, was not helpful to this difficult sale. While this and the outcome was a 'blip,' we do not undervalue David's normal and typical professional expertise. We wish him very well.

From the first meeting with David Taylor, the professionalism of this team comprising David the auctioneer, his brother John Taylor who arranged and oversaw the advertising and inspections, and David’s son Tim Taylor who looked after all the post-sale arrangements, was obvious. The team operates like a well-oiled machine and not a detail is overlooked in maximising the potential outcome of the auction. We could not have been in better hands, and the auction itself was a most memorable occasion with the result exceeding expectations by a large amount.
