Dave was undaunted by our unusual plan to find a forever home in George Town whilst still living in Far North Queensland. Added to the complexity was our plans to place a removal home, found about 5 minutes away, on the site. Having not purchased a property for many years we relied heavily on Dave's experience and advice. H was always available to answer any questions that we had about the property and beautiful George Town, and provided images and insights that made us feel like we were already there. Once we were convinced that this was the property for us, we flew down to Tasmania for a whistle stop tour of the immediate area and met with Dave on site. We were certainly not disappointed, and Dave could not have made us feel more welcome. Upon our return north, we promptly entered negotiations to purchase the property. With Dave's help, an agreed price was quickly negotiated and the contract signed. As we were not able to inspect the property prior to settlement, Dave agreed to help us there too by inspecting the property, sending photos and calling us from the site. Dave has continued to assist us following settlement. He is looking after the keys to the property and keeping an eye on it for us until we move down in February 2025. He is even assisting us to purchase furniture for our new home, ahead of our move. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty!
