Dean was selected to manage the sale of my late Parents' home, by the Executor who is our family Solicitor. We met with Dean and his colleague, James Walters at the property to obtain their advice on the value of the property (a 1500sq. m. waterfront land parcel with a 31 year old pavilion style 4 bedroom full brick family home on it). They also advised us to have the house detailed and styled, and arranged for Stylists to install contemporary furniture and give the home a contemporary "feel" This was excellent advice as we were confident once this was installed the home was looking its best, despite some normal wear and tear evident. They recommended the market would best respond to an auction offering and we agreed to this, selling for $150,000 over the set reserve. They worked diligently on the inspection days, and at other times for potential purchasers who asked for private viewings. He sent a written report to my siblings and I after each inspection day providing statistical information and feedback, which was helpful when it came to setting the reserve price. We felt fully-informed and comfortable with the professional manner in which our parents home (with the associated emotional issues surrounding its sale) was being treated and respected. After the sale, and the emotional time after meeting the Buyers and their family, but closing the chapter on this part in our lives, Dean arrived at our brother's home, where we met to have a drink and reminisce together, with 2 bottles of champagne to share. He sat down in relaxed mode and we had a very enjoyable time. I felt he wanted to share with us the end of a somewhat grueling, by nature, process. I consider his manner and professional abilities to be first class and would recommend to everyone that if you wish to deal with someone trustworthy and ethical, and who will work to obtain the best result for you, then consider Dean and his colleagues.
