I met Dean a few months before we appointed him as our agent when he provided a valuation of the property for valuation for Estate purposes. I asked Dean for this based on his extensive experience in and knowledge of the local market. Together with my father, we interviewed a number of agents and viewed a number of them at open for inspections prior to appointing him as our agent. In my mind he was the stand-out because he took the time to fully understand our requirements and demonstrated to us that he would work hard to sell the property for us. He also made a very clear case for us to sell by Expressions of Interest rather than at auction because of the type of house and the market we were in. He thought this method would give us the best chance of success. During the campaign he helped us with advice on how to prepare the house well, kept us fully informed and importantly to us took the time to meet with us an make sure we fully understood what was happening at different stages. This definitly helped keep us motivated which is important when you have to prepare the property 2-3 times a week for inspections. Finally, his negotiation skills helped us sell the property as soon as expressions of interest closed for a result that was better than we anticipated. He has continued to be in touch after the sale to make sure everything is going smoothly. A great agent to work with. I highly recommend Dean.
