Debbie sourced a property that met our criteria, effectively communicated between Vendor and Purchaser in relation to our concerns re the zoning and development potential of the site and was "on-the-case" even whilst theoretically "on-leave". I believe the negotiated sale price was fair to all parties given a relatively high level of uncertainty in regard to development potential.

Debbie had provided us a with a valuation 12 months ago and when we came to seek a new valuation because we were finally about to move, the valuation was now lower but it was in accord with what McLachlans had expected because of the falling market over the past 12 months. We were aware of that situation. The offer we accepted was in the upper range of the new valuation provided. We believe that the new valuation was the correct one. For us Debbie was frank, encouraging, made good suggestions about how to display the house, explained the costings relating to agents fee and advertising costs appropriately, gave good advice about how to photograph the house and who to place the advertising with, and this was borne out by the number of enquiries received, the number of people who turned up to the first (and only open day) and the number of people who clicked onto the site. Ofcourse an offer was made within 3 days, and we accepted within 5 days! This saved us a lot of hassle! Debbie related well to the prospective buyers, and she went out of her way, in her own to time, to finalise the paperwork! We cannot speak more highly of her professional demeanor and style.

I have had dealings with Debbie as both a purchaser and Vendor. On both occasions I found Debbie to be very honest and trustworthy, which for me are very important in an agent. She made it feel special with the smallest updates on the progress to inviting us to place the sold sign, when we were unable to attend she sent us a photo after she had placed the sold sign. It really made us feel special.
