I had not spoken to Deborah prior to contacting her through PMM who were managing the property. From the first contact, Deborah's professionalism and energy came through and my wife and I were very happy to engage her and PMM as our selling agents. From then on, Deborah kept us informed of every step, and provided professional advice and responses to our many questions. She always delivered on what she said she would do. Deborah is a very genuine and friendly person - and knows her business extremely well. I would strongly recommend Deborah to any prospective real estate employers, and/or buyers and sellers.

Initial contact started with Deborah telling us how brilliant she was at selling homes and how honest, reliable and thorough she is for 20 minutes straight on the phone. Was a great tactic to get us hooked and negotiated a 3.3% agents fee. What a terrible mistake this was. No problems with open homes but once we had agreed on an offer this is where things went south. Deborah was supposed to be working for US (the sellers) in full knowledge of the buyers wishers and intentions she made 2 colossal decisions which impacted our family significantly and impacted settlement which occurred 38 DAYS LATE because of this. In working for the BUYER to secure our current tenant with full knowledge that they would be renting the property, she 1) failed to issue a ‘notice to vacate’ to our brilliant tenants (which then could have been rescinded if negotiations with buyers were successful). 2) failed to change the vacate clause in the contract that SHE developed and negotiated to “rights to receive rent”. Interestingly after these HUGE decisions on HER behalf, we were impacted significantly financially and interestingly enough all communication ceased from her there on. No calls were answered, nor were emails and we had to go through the principal of PMM (that was hard enough to get a response which we are STILL waiting for). After weeks of no contact the only time she decided to talk to us on the phone (very defensively) was when we questioned the funds that she was receiving. My family had to take out a loan just to cover the financial debt we came to be in because of her impact of her decisions. Settlement occurred 38 days late with issue after issue because of her informed decisions and no fault of our own (also agreed by our solicitor and her real estate agency). If you want to sell your home I highly advise to steer very clear of Deborah. We have since lodged an official complaint to the real estate board of TAS as we have been unable to receive a response from the principal.

Deborah was as professional as they come throughout the whole process and did an amazing job to ensure there was great communication and transparency.
