Deepinder Kaur reached out to me with some property options when I was looking to buy my first property. She knew that I’m looking for a brand new property where no one has lived yet since I’ll apply for grants which require this criteria and I made that very clear several times to her. At first she came up with some dodgy properties which I didn’t like as those had some major defects which were not disclosed to me by her. Later she showed me a property which I liked and according to her this was a brand new property, i.e nobody has lived in this property and I would be the first owner of this property. But after I signed the contract and paid the non refundable deposit for the property, when I asked for a letter from the developer stating that this property meets the requirements for that grant, I came to know from the developer that this property was leased to some tenants previously which doesn’t make it a brand new property and hence it won’t meet the criteria of that grant. And since the deposit is non refundable, I wouldn’t get my money back if I back out now. Basically she lied to me this whole time and I incurred a loss of more than $10000 because of her. After all this, she didn’t even showed up with all the keys to the property on the day of settlement and she kept me waiting for almost 3 hours there. She’s a total fraud and I won’t recommend her to anyone.
