great communicator

Derek kept us informed of possible leads, followed up after house openings and kept us abreast of what was happening in the market. Interest was initially slow so Derek changed the day and time of opening in an effort to garner interest. He was open and honest and kept working diligently for us right through a reasonably long time of about five months.

It was a pleasure having Derek as our agent for the recent sale of our home. He was very approachable and we did not hesitate to contact him with concerns and he was prompt in calling or returning calls. He has very good local knowledge and was realistic about the recommended selling price. He didn't give us false impressions of the market like some agents might to try and get you to sign with them, but he did in fact work very hard to get us the highest price possible in a difficult market.
