After interviewing several local agents, firstly via the phone and then in person we settled with trusting the sale of our Currans Hill property with Derek Stone from Starr Partners Campbelltown. Why? Unlike several agents in the area, Derek was heavily engaged with very recent property sales. He was confident of the worth of our property to a purchaser. Rather than just simply selling the property at a conservative (low) price to get a quick turn-around, he understood the need to maximize the sale price for our benefit. He was confident in his appraisal, his view of current market demands and could back up his opinion with very recent (week old) sales results to illustrate his belief. The pricing strategy to be used was also considered. Derek determined that a minimum to expected maximum price range would yield us the best result (as this was the approach that had historically been used in the area), as apposed to an exact sale price which could be negotiated downward. Apart from that, the other thing i appreciated about his approach was his ability to showcase the property at its best via a comprehensive list of attributes in the on-line sales advertisement. His team used visual tools including photographs, colored floor plans and an interactive 3-D walk through. The house was "dressed" with virtual furniture which gave the purchaser a real sense of potential. Throughout the sale of the property Derek communicated well, leaving us with the piece of mind knowing we had a real Sales Professional working on our behalf who truly had our interests at the forefront of his motivations. We had many potential buyers prior to the official Open House. We ended up selling to one of them and the house was "Under Offer" in about one week at a price that exceeded our expectations. (May I note that the sale price also well exceeded other selling agents expected purchase price). We are very happy to write this review and to recommend Derek Stone.
