Once our sale was complete and we'd had time to settle in, Diane visited, compete with a welcoming bottle of champagne. How wonderful it was that my wife and I were given the opportunity to allow Diane to sell our house for us. We had an investment property which we had leased out for 15 years(since 2003) and because of government cut backs to the pension and an unexpected terminal illness diagnosis, we were forced to sell the property to bring down debt. and pay the bills. We had tried to sell it a year earlier with very little luck. We got rediculous offers by people who we felt were trying to take advantage of us. Then when our last tenanet gave us notice my wife and I did not want to go through the loop again, at 70 and 64 respectfully we were getting tierd of trying to make ends meet and fullfill our responsibilities as Lanlords. So we went about looking for some one we could put our trust in that would help us. Through the letter box came Diane's flyer advertising her services like an angel sent from heaven and so we gave her a call and she came round right away to talk to us. Her enthusiasum was bounding over us. It was like a breathe of fresh air had hit us. Diane could not do enough to help us. We took her to see our rental which by now was empty and then she came back with us for coffe. That same day she had arranged for all the small nigly jobs that made it look an eye sore to be done at a very reasonable cost. she took care of the photographs and suggested as it was empty we gave it the WOW touch to let people see its hidden prospects. Her methods of marketing were different to all the other sales people we knew and her ideas just blew us away. Diane managed to sell the house before the first home open and although I suggested to her what I was looking for she did not push me in any way to keep dropping the price. In fact Diane did not put a price on it but allowed prospective purchasers to put their price forward guiding and negotiating things to arrive at above what I wanted.
