Dinesh Raghu
I recently sold my home of 32 years in Endeavour Hills through Hall & Partners. While the property did sell, the overall experience was disappointing. I followed Dinesh’s advice on preparing the home and proceeding to auction, based on assurances of strong buyer interest. However, communication throughout the campaign was poor and expectations set early on did not align with the reality on auction day. There were several unprofessional moments, including contacting my partner instead of me regarding concerns I raised, asking me if I knew anyone who could do leaflet distribution despite paying for marketing and disregarding my availability for the final inspection. On auction day, there were only two bidders and I felt overlooked immediately after the sale, with attention focused on the buyers rather than me. There was also an error in the final statement, where I was incorrectly charged for the auctioneer, which had to be corrected later. Selling a long-term family home is significant and unfortunately the level of communication, respect and professionalism did not meet expectations. I emailed the director with my feedback immediately after settlement, however I am still waiting for acknowledgement of my email.
