We engaged Don to sell our townhouse after having moved interstate. Don was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The thing that we particularly liked about Don was his sensitive and consistent communication with our tenants, for example liaising with them to negotiate open home times and minimising any impact on them by booking multiple services for us (eg photographers/gardener) at the same time. We also really appreciated that Don was on our side in terms of the sale price. When we agreed on a minimum sale price, he did not approach us with lower offers and/or put any pressure on us to accept a price that was below our agreed perception of value. We sold our property for significantly more than another property within our townhouse complex. Our townhouse had a much better location, however we believe that it was Don that allowed us to maximise our return, in line with what we really believe the property was worth. We felt peace of mind because we knew that Don works for himself, relies upon his reputation and really wants sales to be successful. He is not just working for a wage for someone else, this is his business and life, so he cares about the results that he gets.
