We received a phonecall out of the blue from Stockdale and Leggo asking us if we wanted an appraisal. We decided to get one. We liked the person who came out and she made us feel very comfortable. She came back with the quote and gave it to us and we were happy with it. We left it for a few months until we decided to sell and rang the agency up. Don came out and we were given so much advice. He wasnt pushy and we felt very comfortable with him. All through our house selling stage we had regular feedback. He sold our house within a couple of weeks. Today I've taken possession of my new home purchased through Don Mitrevski at Stockdale & Leggo Bayswater, Victoria. I was looking to downsize my home but didn't want to be involved in body corporate or keyhole properties. My specifications were a stand-alone house, 2-3 bedrooms, street frontage so I can meet people when working in my garden, a rear yard big enough for my pets, herb and vegetable garden, a few fruit trees and a garden that I will enjoy working in for many years to come. I also didn't want a house that had been 'tarted' up just for the sale. I must have seen over 60 properties and was getting very depressed about the homes on offer and how fast they were selling back in February this year. I dropped into Don's office to ask about a house that had been pictured in his window. It had just sold that morning!!! Don asked what I was looking for and to my surprise, he actually listened. Previous to this, I had told many other agents about my wish list, but they kept sending me to places that just didn't fit the bill. We arranged to meet on the Saturday morning and Don showed me the house I eventually bought, but we also drove past around 5 other houses. Don explained each house, what would suit me and also the features that weren't going to work for me. At first my heart sank when I walked into my little house, but then we started talking about the possibilities and finally I had something to get excited about. Don arranged for another site visit later that day when my family members (who can be very critical at times) also came and they also saw the possibilities. An offer was made right then. Don had to negotiate with the Vendor and shortly after I raised my offer enough to close the deal but still within my budget. Our terms were flexible for both parties and I found Don and his whole team so very respectful of my wishes as well as the Vendor. The whole experience with Stockdale & Leggo Bayswater has been excellent.
