Duncan and Monica did a great job on the sale of our apartment in Erskineville. With tenants vacating after a long tenancy the place really needed a spruce up and Monica managed getting the place painted, re-carpeted and styled all within a week. It was an unusual market due to the impacts of COVID and we needed to make changes to the sales strategy along the way and Duncan was very good in thinking through alternatives with us and providing solid advice which paid off with a sale price we were very happy with. When you are selling a property you want to know what is happening and the communication Duncan provided was timely, both giving us a verbal update after every open house as well as a written report. We had looked at a couple of agents and are very happy we decided to go with Duncan and the R&H Newtown team.

It is premature to provide this rating as the sale transaction is yet to be finalised. Scheduled finalisation is 12 January 2021. The two issues I raise by exception are the (1) painters about whom I have reservations and (2) the people who provided the property inspection report who should have allowed a response from the owners before going public with their report.
