Eddie took over a campaign from Barry Plant due to poor results after more than 8 weeks of campaigning. Eddie launched the campaign with new photos and recommended some improvements to better present the house. The house was open on only 2 occasions in the first week and we had multiple offers 8 days after the house was re-launched onto the market. We knew Eddie worked at Grants in the Berwick Office but didn't think he would come all the way to Clayton, guess what he did! From the moment he entered the property to Inspect and value it to the day it sold he was a true professional in every way. He explained the process thoroughly so that Mum and everyone knew exactly what was involved from costing, commission rates, marketing, valuation, auctioning and all the pros and cons of the different approaches to selling. We initially went for auction and ended up getting a buyer before the auction date. The house was marketed and sold within 3-4 weeks and Eddie constantly kept us updated in every aspect of the process. Eddie was very helpful in taking calls and questions from us in regards to other areas of the property market too. He even came down late at night in the dark and rain from Berwick to put a Sold sticker on the For Auction Board at the property the night before the original Auction date to prevent people from turning up as the property had already been sold. He even came down to the property on his day off to allow the buyer to do an further inspection of the property with his family who had not originally seen the it. Mum even managed to buy an new house through Grants in Berwick. So all in all, a one stop shop in our case.
