Champion jockey Eddie Wilkinson has taken the reins as a sales agent for @realty. Off the track, Eddie has pursued a keen interest in real estate, buying and selling multiple properties in Australia and New Zealand.
Drawn to the Sunshine Coast for its relaxed lifestyle, he says he is passionate about helping people to locate, list and sell their dream home. Knowing the area, the market and the client’s needs are Eddie’s key priorities in getting a sale over the line.
Born and raised on North Island of New Zealand, Eddie moved to Australia in 1994 furthering his outstanding career as a professional jockey which also took him to Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Dubai and Macau.
He has amassed nine Group One wins and ridden in two Melbourne Cups including a third aboard the Bart Cummings-trained Zazabelle in 1999. Eddie lives in Coolum with his family and enjoys playing golf outside of work.
