Edmond was very proactive in getting the house onto the market, helping to liaise with staging and giving frequent updates on inspection outcomes and market data. Areas that I felt could be improved, I felt that following the failed auction, and subsequent initial offer, Edmond was quite keen for us to consider offers that were below our asking price. We had outlined on numerous occasions that we did not need to sell, and were happy to rent the house out if our asking price was not met. However, a lot of the commentary was, the bidder is a first home buyer, they need a loan from parents, the parents don’t have a lot of money etc, eluding to the offer won’t increase and hence I should take the offer as it stands. Subsequently pushing back, the offer was raised to an acceptable level. However, I feel that if we weren’t in a position to walk away from the sale, we would have taken the lower offer early on, as it was made to be that that was the best we’d get.

Ed was so patient and understanding with our concerns no matter how big or small.
