Highly competent and efficient at what she does, she was able to answer most of my questions, and if she didn't have the answer at hand, she was able to get back to me in a timely manner. We met Emily at an open home. This particular home wasn’t the right fit for us however Emily’s bubbly personality had us chatting for over a hour about our family life and what type of new home we were after. A few days later she showed us what we have been looking for. From the immaculately executed inspection Emily was open and upfront with us from the start and went the extra mile for us. Emily made the experience so easy. As a first home buyer Emily was able to put my nerves at easy by explaining every little detail and assisting with the settlement. Emily always went above and beyond to make sure that I was always aware as to what was going on and where we were at in the process. Emily made the process easy and stress free . Emily has been great. She answers her phone at all times and has all the patience in the world for all the silly and smart questions you might have. She did for me. If she doesn't answer the phone immediately, she gets back in contact with you soon. I dealt with Emily from beginning to end; which is great, no sudden handover to millennials, unlike so many other real estate agencies! She has a friendly, bubbly and polite demeanour that works well with all clients and parties. I had a situation where the two lawyers were going to war with each other and it was through the Emily's mediation between the buyer and I that we managed to de-escalate a situation. Anyone, who has been involved with this process will unfortunately know the situation all too well. I have sold a number of houses now and have not found an agent I was happy to continue to work with, an agent who actually earns their commission. Emily is also very quick to turn plans into actions (i.e. quick to get ads online and fill the house with display furniture). Perhaps most importantly, Emily is old school and certainly no millennial. Now, I know I'm hard on millennials but I am yet to come across one in real estate that I am not profoundly disturbed by. I had one tell a buyer, without my permission, that they do not need to put a 10% deposit down at the end of the cooling off period, as stipulated in the sales contract. The sale was void because the buyer had this arrangement in writing and I insisted that we proceed as per the contract we signed... And that was just one of them!! Emily is old school. She was making sales before the housing boom, back when talent was required to do so and it shows now that the market is no longer skyrocketing. This is the first positive review I have ever written for an agent. Will be using her again. They don't call her The Scorpion for nothing!!!!!
