Avoid at any cost

No inspection of the property or hand over by Emma. I was asked to pick up my new house keys from her office which was way out of my way at 2pm in peak traffic to get there and be given only one key when asked where the garage remotes were I was told that the other keys were in the mail box. When asked where the mail box key was I was told it’s in the mail box . I said surely the mailbox is locked . Emma then went to her car and said I do have these keys maybe one is the mailbox , if not just come back and I will sort something out . the one key given for the front door didn’t open the security screen and the deadlock would line up to lock … the garage remotes didn’t work so at 11pm my first night I was locked out. I noticed my dishwasher was missing and the pipe that connects to the dishwasher was leaking all through the cupboard and the wood swelled and laminate peeled off. The nbn technician informed me my roof was full of rubbish which took me two loads to the tip get rid of. I was also left with rubbish in one bedroom and a heap of chemicals and rubbish in the shed and garage .I also asked specifically if the solar panels were working and was told they were in an email . I was then approached shortly after moving in by a solar company that had been contacted by the previous owner to quote because the old one is broken. So the owners indeed fraudulently lied about the solar panels working . As much as Emma may have deniability about the solar panels not working she did not inspect the state of the house before handing over the keys . Emma did contact the previous owners about the dishwasher and I was reimbursed for a new one and Emma payed for the emergency plumbing . Building inspections only check the integrity of the building not the integrity of the vendors . Avoid Ray white if this how business is done

Subject: Re: Concerns About Property Handover Hi Vicki, I understand your frustration, and I appreciate you bringing these issues to my attention. I want to clarify that I went above and beyond to assist you post-settlement, including personally covering the cost of a plumber to fix the leak and ensuring the seller reimbursed you for the dishwasher. As an agent, my role is to facilitate the sale and ensure a smooth transition, which is why I’ve remained in constant communication with you to address your concerns as best as I can. While some matters, such as property condition upon settlement, are typically the buyer’s responsibility to inspect prior to handover, I have done everything within my capacity to assist you wherever possible. I have offered to try help and also contacted you multiple times post settlement. You did a pre settlement inspection and you were happy . I’m really sorry you feel unhappy I wish there was more I could do to help. If there’s anything further I can reasonably do to help, please let me know. Best, Emma
