I’ll admit that I’ve known Ewan Kerr for some years. However until now I have not done any business with him. After this transaction I hope I don’t have to do this again without him. Ewan is more than a credit for LJ Hooker Nerang. Ewan is an absolute Asset in every way to the business he works within. Honesty, Integrity, Absolute Commitment in every way, every day. We listed our house for sale just before COVID-19 was thrown at us. Ewan was never put off by the situation at hand. He understood what the government rules & regulations were and he worked tirelessly to get as many people through our property as he could within the regulations. He was my support & friend when I was a little dejected & needed a lift. He never wavered from his focus which was to get us the best price in a difficult market. He never, ever suggested that we lower our price. ‘That was our call‘ he said. He told me that he didn’t want to be ‘the agent’ that just got what was being offered. In the end we accepted an offer that was not far short of what we expected in a pre COVID-19 market. He debated with people who tried to play down our property and very diplomatically asked if they could explain the reasons for their appraisal. He would then, again diplomatically, show them the error of their process. We, my wife and I, cannot speak highly enough of this young man. Unfortunately he didn’t get to take part in our new purchase as it was a private sale. Still I cant wait to get him around at our new address and get his valued opinion. If you want an honest and informed opinion on your property and you have the inner fortitude to not to take offence when he tells you the truth then look no further. Ewan is somebody who will reinstate a positive and glowing opinion in you of those who work in the Real Estate industry. However be aware. I believe there are few like him. He may be a unicorn.

Ewan advised me early on when I was trying to decide what to do with my rental property. He was very helpful and never pressured me to sell through him. When the time came, of course I did! He worked hard on my behalf to sell the property and always looked after my interests. He's a nice guy too.

Ewan was the agent for the purchase of our new home and he continually went above and beyond with his ‘Can Do’ attitude. From last minute visits to the property to measure up, to helping us get the flooring we wanted pre settlement. Even after settlement Ewan was helping us with a few things we found after moving in. Ewan has a good knowledge of real estate and was very friendly and forthcoming with his advice from his own experiences. It was a pleasure having Ewan there helping us every step of the way.

Ewan has a vast knowledge on the current market and pointed out everything we needed to know, the whole process was made easy as Ewan kept us updated every step of the way and helped us with everything we were unsure of.

Ewan's not like most real estate agents you deal with. He is honest, upfront and has a genuine intrest in what's best for you and the buyer. Most agents will say what you want to hear to get the listing. We were thinking about renting our place out at one point and Ewan thought it was a good idea. Not many agents would suggest for you to rent your place out. Ewan's experience and expertise in Carrara specifically Boonooroo Park area is second to none and he was right on the money with what our place was worth.
