Last month I placed an offer on a property advertised as a Brand New, Four Bedroom Home with Air-conditioning, which was accepted. During the due diligence and Building & Pest inspection it was revealed it was four years old, had no air-conditioning and was actually a three bedroom home plus office. Garren did apologise for the misleading information, but I wasn’t going to cancel the contract and possibly miss out on the property, as he later said I could have. I have purchased the property but am now having to fork out approx. $8,000 for the air-conditioning and have appliances that are all out of warranty. I feel it was misrepresentation by advertising a property with major misleading factors.
