The Directors of the Acton Consolidated Group acknowledged his capacity for innovative, strategic planning by celebrating his success with the appointment of Gary to the position of a partner in the Acton Consolidated Group in 2000. Gary was raised in the Western suburbs commencing his education at Floreat Primary School and progressing to secondary School attending Hale. There his exemplary leadership skills were demonstrated in his successful captaincy of several sporting codes. He was champion cross-country, middle distance and long distance runner representing Hale at many inter-school meetings. Gary's long association with the Western Suburbs has resulted in an extensive network of business relationships and an intimate knowledge of the needs of the community. Upon completion of his final year at Hale Gary entered the financial industry. His capacity for ethical work practices enabled him to progress to management level. Ten years of banking experience consolidated both a theoretical and a working knowledge of financial processes. In 1989 Gary elected to broaden his personal horizons by joining a local Real Estate Company in the Western Suburbs; fulfilling the role of Sales Manager with flair and distinction. Gary's loyalty to his employers is demonstrated in the lengthy periods of tenure with both. Gary's reputation for hard work and integrity of practice attracted the attention of the Directors of the Acton Consolidated Group of Companies. He was approached to join this establishment as a partner managing Acton Consolidated North in Floreat and in a short period of time added the outstanding success of the City Beach Office. “I enjoy working for, and being associated with the Acton Group because it is a company which values integrity”, Gary stated publicly. He went on to add, “On a customer level I like to believe my clients have confidence in what I strive to achieve for them. That is why I am impressed when they return after a number of years to avail themselves of my services. Professional and patient!

In what was a very slow and difficult market, Gary remained optimistic, enthusiastic and professional. He never used pressure tactis or panicked. Gary Dye and his team & ACTON North and West Coast did an amazing job from day one until Auction Day. Gary was on pointe 24/7 to guide us through the process, whether on his scooter delivering ‘Home For Sale’ brochures or Blow Vacking the pathway on Open House Days and always with a smile on his face. Auction Day was perfectly planned with a tent on the front lawn in case it rained, a great turnout thanks to ‘Scooter Man’ and we reached our Reserve thanks to Auctioneer Boyd.
