Gary's approach to the market involves attracting high-net-worth families for whom the right property becomes a legacy. To do so, he leverages his strong relationships with leading high-end buyer advocates and advisors, and uses traditional real estate marketing to ensure comprehensive coverage of both local and international buyers.
Gary's own property experience runs deep: together with his wife Jen, he has built one of the region's most respected premium portfolios - Picadilly Properties, including Picadilly House.
He began his career as a strategy consultant at LEK Consulting, where he honed an evidence-based discipline and rigour that he applies to every transaction. He subsequently sat on the board and served as commercial and legal counsel for ASX-listed Hostworks Limited. He has also built several of his own businesses across sectors including brand communication strategy, finance broking, childcare and property development - each achieving strong commercial returns, with one ultimately sold to private equity and another to a publicly listed company.
Gary grew up in Byron Bay before leaving to study Law and Jurisprudence at UNSW, then built his career across Sydney and Asia. He returned some twelve years ago and now lives in Coopers Shoot. In 2016 he became a co-owner of Byron Private, one of Australia's foremost mental health treatment providers - work that speaks both to his investment in the community and to the discretion he brings to sensitive situations.
