Having had Gav sell my house in Googong and achieve an outstanding sale price, I was very happy to find a property listed by White Rhino that was within budget and still in Googong. I'd spent months looking at houses listed by other agents in Canberra and Queanbeyan, and very few have the market knowledge that Gav has. Many of the other agents won't even list a price or price range, and when asked what they expect the house to sell for, they either don't have an answer or ask the potential purchaser what they think the house will sell for. Gavin is always able to give an accurate expectation of what each house he lists will sell for, and having looked at a few with Gav before settling on Baker Cres, he knew what I was looking for in a house and was upfront with me on whether some of the houses would meet my needs or not. The level of honesty and integrity Gav showed, to be able to say 'Mate, I don't think this is the house for you' instead of just chasing a sale that wouldn't have been right for me is commendable. I am reliably informed that selling your home is the 2nd most stressful experience to endure, only preceded by divorce. Before putting our home on the market, I researched the local Agents who could meet our expectations, particularly regarding the intimate knowledge of the market but also to be able to provide timely advice to us, as the Vendors. Gavin came to my home for the initial consultation and put me at ease with his demeanour and knowledge of the local real estate market. Our home was put on the market and, with the support of his team Belinda, Sienna and Bo, with several below par offers, had the house sold in about 4 weeks. That 4 weeks sometimes felt like 40 but, Belinda and Gavin were able to reassure us that, although it was very stressful, the pricing was correct and achievable. They were right and we achieved the asking price that we wanted. We couldn't thank them enough for the help and support during this stressful time.
